It’s a compelling obligation for the world’s leading enterprises to undertake social responsibilities so as to build a better world, which is also one of Fubang’s core values. Fubang Group, as a social citizen, has been proactively engaged in public welfare, taking an indispensable part of its business. Since its inception, Song Hanping, President of Fubang Group, has expressed with full confidence that besides recruiting talent people extensively, Fubang Group would also continue improving its corporate governance structure, in an attempt to achieve a perfect combination between industry and capital so as to promote the overall efficiency, making it ready for a world-class enterprise from China, and more importantly, it would do whatever it takes to repay society.

Thanks to Fubang, almost ten thousand employees have a stable home. By the end of 2012, Fubang, had 9,921 employees who have signed labor contracts with the Group; the rate of joining “ five social insurance and one housing fund” (endowment insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance, and maternity insurance and housing accumulation funds) for employees is 100%; and the Group pays the employees on time strictly following the system. Meanwhile, due to the rapid development of Fubang’s economy, the annual income of employees is raising gradually: the income was RMB 28, 230 with a year-on-year growth of 16.2% in 2010, RMB 33,164 with a year-on-year growth of 17.5% in 2011 and RMB 37,261 with a year-on-year growth of 12.4% in 2012.

Being active in charity, Fubang had established its foundation in early 2004, and more than 10 subsidiaries set up various charity organizations successively. In 2005, the Group donated RMB 1 million to Ningbo Municipal Charity Federation to set up “Fubang Charity Fund”, and the donation amounted to 5 million in 2009. On the day when Wenchuan earthquake occurred in 2008, Fubang contributed RMB 2 million, the first corporate donation Ningbo Charity Federation had received. In addition, 10,000 employees of the Group donated RMB 881,400 and supplies worth RMB 260,000, and RMB 256, 300 of “special party fee” paid by over 1,000 communist party members. Moreover, Fubang Group has kept visiting employees with hardship during holidays for more than 1,200 times and offered an overall condolence of over RMB 1.5 million for nearly 11 years. By the end of 2012, the total capital invested in social welfare by Fubang Group and its subsidiaries had exceeded RMB 160 million.

Meanwhile, Fubang is also positive in public sports. In 2006, with the support and care of PLA General Political Department, Fubang Group organized Bayi Fubang (Ningbo) Men’s Basketball Club, not only innovating a brand-new development model for Chinese army’s sports cause, but also making itself a name card of Ningbo in its construction of a culture city.
